Pokedex Entry #128: Tauros is a Normal Type Pokemon. It has no Evolution.
This Pokémon is not satisfied unless it is rampaging at all times. If there is no opponent for Tauros to battle, it will charge at thick trees and knock them down to calm itself.

Can also learn earthquake (charge move)
Can also learn iron head 40 charge move
I second that, it has Iron Head for 40, 3 charge bars.
Mine also has earthquake
earthquake confirmed, mine has it too
Caught 3 today
1. Zen Headbutt; Earthquake
2. Zen Headbutt; Iron Head
3. Tackle; Horn Attack
Where did you find them?
Tracked one of these for 15 minutes, game glitched out twice and second time it wasn't there anymore...
I caught one of these with a regular ball and no raspberries while lying on my couch. There are about 6 spawn points in my neighbor's yard, usually they have weedles, zubats, and pidgeys. I also get some Eevees and oddish and the odd bellsprout. Every now and then something else pops up at one of these spawn points. This morning around 11:15 am, a Tauros popped up. Nothing special about the location, it's along a moderately traveled country road more than a mile from the nearest pokestop or gym. No water nearby, just some trees and farmland.
Does it evolve?
Found this one in the Walmart parking lot in de soto TX off I-35
I saw a Tauros on my radar in my residential neighborhood, but never hunted it down. Then I found one in the parking lot of a local rock climbing place, but the game glitched and I lost it. Finally caught my Tauros at LaGuardia Airport in New York City.
Caught him at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Alexandria, LA a few nights ago. Wasn't doing anything special - just relaxing in my room when he popped up.

Eisenhower Park is actually a nest.
Just caught my first one in the suburbs of philly. Popped up out of nowhere. 430 pm saturday Used one razz and got him on first try. Of any use? Hes just notmal type moderate poibts, and came with a stelel type special skill. Costs alot of stardust to make stronger.
Dallas, TX has these all over the place. I'm guessing Texas and bulls are a cliché match up.
I am absolutely brand new to the pokemon world so really don't know what I'm doing although I'm having fun playing. I have 8 Tauros and I see they don't evolve so, what do I do with them?
First of all to get Tauros you must check Out Dallas Texas good places are besides Gyms and multiple Pokestops.
Just got an Tauros it's a puny Pokemon but it's rare Pokemon so that's worth it .
It has 947 CP With Horn attack as special attack and tackle as normal attack.
Bedford/Euless, Texas (Fort Worth area) are teeming with Tauros most of the time. Typically run into one every time I'm there.
Sorry, but that is no bull. That would be a steer.
I catch one almost every day at the Tanger outlets in Hershey PA in front of Under Armour.
Lots of them in Troy NY
I have caught 30. most have been over 1200... sometimes they have been low cp's. I have a level 1450 with Zen Headbutt 12 and Earthquake 100 then I have a 1347 Tackle 12 and Horn Attack 25 4Charge 121 candies to power mine up. :)
back when GO was still new, tauros had exceptional rarity.
a month or so later, i was seeing and catching a couple or so almost every day.
but after gen II went live, they seem to have returned to their original rarity.
i have 191 caught out of 209, and amassed 794 candies.
recently i mained a 93.3% cp1404 tauros with tackle/iron head, which is actually usable now and not a far cry from the preferred earthquake.
I am in the scranton area of PA and have been searching for weeks and haven't even caught a glimpse. I've tried rural area and city but it's not around. Can anyone give hints because I don't want to go back to Australia without one
They are always at Antelope Island, Utah
